Interfraternity Council (IFC)

 IFC is composed of representatives from each member fraternity and provides a forum for discussion on common problems, while working to strengthen the fraternity system.  Formal Recruitment is held each Fall Semester. Each night begins at 5:30 PM in the Student Union. All men aspiring go become a member of the Greek Community must have a 2.5 GPA from either high school or college (whichever is more recent) and a registration fee.

 HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

IFC holds a mutual selection period called “Recruitment” during the first full week of each Fall semester.  Recruitment is typically between three and nights event that begins with an informational session that allows you to gain a better understanding of Greek Life and the Fraternity system at Nicholls. The remaining nights  are aimed at letting you meet each individual fraternity and its members.  The week concludes with men being offered bids to join fraternities.

Each night will in the Student Union. All men wishing to go through must have a 2.5 GPA from either high school or college (whichever is more recent) and pay a $20 fee.  Online registration is for formal recruitment is now closed.
