National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

Representatives from each fraternity and sorority work together to promote Unity, assess standards for intake and new member education, develop overall goals and objectives, and participate in fundraisers as well as community service projects. NPHC is comprised of nine Nationally Historically African-American fraternities and sororities referred to as the “The Divine Nine.”  Five of the nine chapters are active at Nicholls State University.

Joint Interest Meetings are held at the discretion of each chapter.  Please see boards in Greek Hallway for specifics. There is no fee required to attend, but the scholastic requirement is a minimum 2.5 GPA and 30+ hours.
