It does not snow in southern Louisiana. Rarely will the weather be colder than 10 degrees Celsius. However, be sure to bring a jacket, sweaters, and long pants for the winter months.\u00a0 You will also find warm clothes helpful while attending classes at indoor campus locations.\u00a0 While it is important to prepare in advance, you will also be able to obtain some clothing items in Thibodaux.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1084\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Money for Living Expenses<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1084\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1084\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Make sure to bring enough money to cover the educational and living expenses of your first semester at Nicholls State University. You are required to pay tuition, fees, housing and food service charges in full upon beginning classes at Nicholls.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You should also plan to carry with you a certain amount of money in the form of cash (U.S. dollars) and traveler\u2019s checks. You and your family can judge how much spending money you should have available for travel and personal expenses. If you plan to stay in an off-campus apartment, you should bring approximately $1,500 for immediate apartment\u2019s deposit, food and miscellaneous move-in expenses.
