For a comparison with 2011 respondents, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/irep\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/54\/2015\/07\/Nicholls-Alumni-Survey-Employment-Items-Trend-Analysis.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helpfulness of Nicholls &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>The alumni survey asks respondents to related the degree of helpfulness Nicholls provided in developing their skills in a variety of areas. 80% of alumni reported that Nicholls was &#8220;helpful&#8221; or &#8220;very helpful&#8221; in developing their &#8220;ability to write well&#8221;,&nbsp;87% in developing their &#8220;ability to use critical thinking skills&#8221;, and 72% regarding their &#8220;ability to use mathematical concepts&#8221;. Prominent findings from the 2015 survey include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;Academic advising was&nbsp;used by 99% of 2015 respondents, making it the most commonly used service.
