Some project management, including budgeting and request for proposals, may be involved.<\/li><li><b>Collaborate on key messaging:<\/b>\u00a0Work with senior communications staff to develop and distribute messaging across talk points, news releases, web content social media and in support of additional channels managed by other company departments.<\/li><li><b>Media &amp; stakeholder engagement:<\/b>\u00a0Develop responses to media inquiries and for use with other external stakeholders. Manage logistics for press conferences and special events. May also act as a company spokesperson.<\/li><li><b>Develop and support integrated campaigns:<\/b>\u00a0Help implement corporate communications strategic campaigns and provide guidance on supporting public relations and marketing efforts, ensuring messages resonate with target audiences and lead to positive business outcomes.<\/li><li><b>Create multimedia content:<\/b>\u00a0Develop compelling multimedia content\u2014like photos, videos audio and webcasts\u2014tailored for both internal and external audiences.<\/li><li><b>Crisis communication support:<\/b>\u00a0Offer communications support during storms or other emergencies, ensuring accurate and timely messages are shared with the appropriate audiences.<\/li><li><b>Brand management:<\/b>\u00a0Assist with managing Entergy\u2019s graphic standards and market branding, including strategies, materials and communication plans to support and promote major functional initiatives and projects.\u00a0<\/li><li><b>Monitor industry news:<\/b>\u00a0Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities to spot emerging issues and keep the company informed.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b><u>Minimum Requirements<\/u><\/b><\/p><p><b>Minimum education required of the position:<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field or equivalent experience.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Minimum experience required of the position:<\/b><\/p><ul><li><b>Communications Specialist II<\/b>: 3+ years of experience<\/li><li><b>Sr. Communications Specialist<\/b>: 5-7+ years of experience<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Strong experience in public relations and communications planning.<\/li><li>Understanding of the public relations research, planning, implementation and evaluation process. Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is a plus.<\/li><li>Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills across multiple formats, including written, visual and multimedia.
