Q. Who should I contact if I have questions about the MBA program?

Q. How many credits are required to complete the MBA degree?

A. The Nicholls MBA program requires 30 hours of credit plus any foundation course deficiencies that have to be completed either because these courses were not part of the applicant’s undergraduate program or because the applicant did not do well enough in them as an undergraduate.

Q. How many courses can I take each semester?

A. Students can take up to 12 credit hours during fall and spring semesters and nine credit hours during the summer semester without special permission if the courses are available. Twelve credit hours is considered a full load.

Q. How long does it take to complete a degree?

A. Upon completion of foundation requirements, a full-time student could reasonably expect to complete the graduate coursework in two years of study or less.

Q. Is the Nicholls MBA program fully accredited?

A. Yes, the graduate and undergraduate degree programs are accredited by AACSB International.

Q. What is AACSB International?

A. AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting. AACSB International also is the professional organization for management education.
