THIBODAUX – Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Bonnie, the Nicholls State University Emergency Preparedness Committee has initiated a Phase I Alert in accordance with the 2010 Hurricane Emergency Plan posted at https://emergency.www.nicholls.edu.
All Nicholls departments must refer to their hurricane emergency plan and begin enacting internal Phase I storm preparations at this time.
The Emergency Preparedness Committee will continue to monitor the speed and path of the storm and will take additional action if necessary. The university remains open, and the community will be notified if Phase II storm preparations are implemented.
