THIBODAUX – With the approach of Tropical Storm Nate, the Nicholls Emergency Preparedness Committee has initiated a Phase II alert in accordance with the university’s Hurricane Emergency Plan, posted at emergency.www.nicholls.edu.
Classes and all activities at Nicholls State University are continuing as scheduled. Please continue to monitor www.nicholls.edu and Nicholls social media for updates.
The Emergency Preparedness Committee will continue to monitor the status of the storm and will take additional action if necessary.
The community will be notified if Phase III storm preparations are implemented.
