Dr. Dial joined Nicholls in 1986 and brings nearly four decades of experience in higher education to the position, including the last 17 years as vice president of Student Affairs.

Higher education administration positions are expected to grow at a rate faster than the average job over the next five years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“We recognize that there is going to be a need for these jobs in our area and across the country, and we believe this is a field where Nicholls can become a leader,” Nicholls President Dr. Jay Clune said. “Dr. Dial is passionate about this subject.
