The guest speaker is Lisa Kliebert, the executive director of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bayouregionincubator.spaces.nexudus.com\/home\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bayou Region Incubator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As a three-time Nicholls graduate, Kliebert uses her background in leadership to help local entrepreneurs grow their businesses through mentorship and community networking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Session II at noon will feature the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/liberal-arts\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">College of Liberal Arts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/culinary\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chef John Folse Culinary Institute<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The speaker is Bret Allain II, a former Louisiana State Senator and sugarcane farmer. During his 12 years in office, Allain was a key figure in state budget decisions and coastal protection. He is a longtime supporter of the university and played a major role in securing the state funding needed for Nicholls\u2019 campus upgrades and coastal research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Session III at 3 p.m. will finish with the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/nursing\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thibodaux Regional Health System School of Nursing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/sciences-technology\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">College of Sciences and Technology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The speaker is Dr. Jimmy N. Ponder Jr., a physician with over 30 years of experience who leads the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theheadacheandpaincenter.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headache and Pain Center<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dr. Ponder frequently works with Nicholls&#8217; nursing and science programs to provide students with clinical experience and career opportunities. He is also a recognized leader in medical education, having served as president of the Louisiana Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that this is a ticketed event.
