The event will feature 21 breakout sessions on topics including study strategies; testing and evaluations; teaching struggling writers; college preparation; the emotional side of dyslexia; assistive technologies; struggling with math; the importance of handwriting; how to communicate with a child\u2019s school; and how to identify dyslexia.<\/p>\n<p>Cosponsored by the Louisiana Branch of The International Dyslexia Association, the conference will be held at Broadmoor Middle Laboratory School, 441 Atlantic Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Susan Hall, a consultant, trainer and author who specializes in teacher training and early reading, will deliver the keynote address, \u201cImplementing Response to Intervention: Practical Tips.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conference information and registration details are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/dyslexia\">www.nicholls.edu\/dyslexia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ladyslexia.com\/\">ladyslexia.com<\/a>.
