THIBODAUX \u2013 The public is invited to enjoy fine food and professional service at the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute\u2019s student-operated restaurant, LeBistro, located at The Carmel Inn, 400 East First Street in Thibodaux.<\/p>\n

LeBistro, the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute\u2019s student-operated restaurant, is located at The Carmel Inn, 400 East First Street in Thibodaux.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Scheduled each Wednesday and Friday until July 27, LeBistro offers a variety of cultural cuisines and serving styles, including Cajun, Creole, American, French and Russian. Menus are available at www.nicholls.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Students participating in LeBistro learn about the front and back of the house in a hands-on restaurant environment.\u00a0From the ambiance to the menu, students make all the crucial decisions pertaining to the restaurant and its service, rotating in leadership roles, preparing different items on the menu and serving guests. All gain experience as the sous chef, pastry chef, maitre d\u2019, seating captain, executive chef and servers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Seating times are from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Seats can be reserved until 9 a.m. on the day of service, and menu items are subject to change based on availability.<\/p>\n

Admission is $25 per person \u2013 or $50 per person for the Russian\/Classical French service. For reservations, call 985-449-7114.<\/p>\n
