Pictured from left are Ezema and Christy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The announcement was made at the university&#8217;s annual Crawfish Day celebration for students and employees.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Mr. and Ms. Nicholls nominees must have earned at least a 2.5 grade point average and must be active in student organizations. Finalists for the honor are selected by a committee of students, faculty and staff and chosen via popular vote by Nicholls students.<\/p>\n<p>Ezema, a graduating biology senior, is vice president of the Nicholls International Community and a Student Government Association senator. A former ambassador for the NAACP, disk jockey for KNSU and homecoming king, Ezema was also a member of Young Democrats and the Pre-Professional Medical Association.<\/p>\n<p>Christy, a psychology major who plans to graduate in Spring 2010, is chapter vice president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and director of public relations for the Student Government Association.
