That year, 36 students were sent to the prestigious event, and the number has grown every year. The tournament will be held from Thursday, April 11 through Sunday, April 14. Students were flown out on April 5 and will return on April 15. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Aside from a unique and memorable experience, students receive intensive training, working long shifts and preparing more than 1,500 meals per day at various tournament venues.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the week of the tournament, students will hold a wide range of jobs \u2014 acting as servers, pantry assistants and other support positions. Some students will also have the opportunity to work in the Champions Locker, where the celebrity golfers are fed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Held at the Augusta National Golf Club since its inception in 1934, the Masters is one of the four major championships held each year for professional golfers.
