Board of Regents Forms: <\/strong> -The LA Board of Regents (BoR) Research Competitiveness Subprogram (RCS)<\/a> will be available for the 2025-26 funding cycle.  This proposal is due October 17th, 2025, to the BOR.<\/p>

<\/p>\n

\u2013Notice of Intent (DUE TO ORSP SEPTEMBER 4TH, DUE TO BOR SEPTEMBER 11TH)<\/span> :<\/strong>  A Notice of Intent is required for all RCS proposals, which will need to be internally routed through your chain of command (i.e., Department Head, Dean, and Vice Provost) and approved by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs before submitting it to the BoR.  Because the Notice of Intent has much less information than a full proposal, the ORSP has developed a revised Internal Routing form specifically for the BoR Notice of Intent.  Please select the link below to download the NoI Internal Routing form.<\/p>

<\/p>\n

\u2013Internal Review (formerly White Paper) (DUE TO ORSP SEPTEMBER 11TH)<\/span>:<\/strong> The BoR requires an internal review of each proposal submitted by an institution.  In the past, faculty who wanted to submit a BoR proposal would send a document called a White Paper to ORSP.  The White Paper included information about the proposal and was used by the internal screening committee to review each proposal. Because only the RCS program is available this year, the document you used for the Notice of Intent with a detailed budget and justification will be used by the Internal Screening Committee (ISC) to evaluate each proposal. The new Internal Review forms must be approved by your chain of command.<\/p>
