Advising<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Students should contact their academic advisor to arrange a convenient time for advisement and registration. Students will follow the registration schedule listed below. First-time freshmen and transfer freshmen should contact the Advising Center <\/a>at 985.448.4117 for registration assistance.<\/p>\n

In the event it is necessary for either the individual or the entire course to move to an online environment, proctored exams may be required for this course at an additional cost to the student. Students should access Canvas and their course syllabus to determine the requirements for this course.<\/em><\/p>\n

November 5 \u2013 Freshmen, registration opens at 6:00 a.m. (CST)<\/strong><\/p>\n

November 6 to December 15 \u2013 Registration – open to all classifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

December 15 \u2013 Class Cancellation<\/a> for non-payment of tuition\/fees at noon<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to <\/strong>Register<\/strong> for classes? <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STUDENTS WILL BE INDEBTED TO THE UNIVERSITY IMMEDIATELY UPON REGISTRATION UNLESS STUDENTS \u201cUNREGISTER\u201d (DROP) ALL CLASSES PRIOR TO 4:15 P.M. ON THE LAST BUSINESS DAY BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2025.<\/span> To release him\/herself from this indebtedness, a student must \u201cunregister<\/em>\u201c prior to the close of Regular Registration for the term. Regular Registration ends 15 minutes prior to the close of business on the last business day before classes begin. Refunds for resignations after this time and date can be located at Tuition and Fees<\/a>.<\/p>\n
