Nicholls State University offers three terms during its summer session, two 4-week mini terms and an 8-week full term. Students can elect to register for available courses during any of these terms. Undergraduate students can register for a total of 15 undergraduate credit hours while graduate students can register for a total of 9 graduate credit hours.<\/p>\n

How to\u00a0<\/strong>Register<\/strong>\u00a0for classes?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

STUDENTS WILL BE INDEBTED TO THE UNIVERSITY IMMEDIATELY UPON REGISTRATION UNLESS STUDENTS \u201cUNREGISTER\u201d (DROP ALL CLASSES) PRIOR TO 4:15 P.M. ON THE LAST BUSINESS DAY BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN, THURSDAY, MAY 29, 2025. To release him\/herself from this indebtedness, a student must \u201cunregister<\/em>\u201c prior to the close of Regular Registration for the term. Regular Registration ends 15 minutes prior to the close of business on the last business day before classes begin. Refunds for resignations after this time and date can be located at\u00a0Tuition and Fees<\/a>.<\/p>\n
