SPA is here to help your on-campus organization or department! We can provide financial assistance for student-centered events and marketing. All funding request must be submitted\u00a0at least one month prior<\/strong> to the event date. Once the Funding Request Form is submitted, SPA will review the request and notify the organization with approval or denial.\u00a0Please review SPA’s Sponsorship Guidelines before filling out a request.<\/p>

SPA Sponsorship Funding Guidelines:<\/p>\n

1. All fundraising requests must be submitted at a minimum of one month prior to the scheduled event date.<\/p>\n

2. SPA will automatically deny a request for the following:
– Requests that are not received three weeks prior to the event date
– Greek Life organizations
– Private RSO events
– Events that serve as a fundraiser for RSOs
– Applications from RSOs who have not hosted at minimum one fundraising event during the requested event
semester
– Activities that are not student-only events (open community events\/off-campus public events)<\/p>\n

3. Required Application Documents
– A completed SPA Sponsorship Funding application<\/p>\n

4. Fundraising Limitations
– All requested items must be approved by the SPA Advisor and University Director of Purchasing
– One single item cannot be valued at over $100.00
– No gift cards, cash, checks, or direct funds will be approved
– Organizations are only permitted to have one approved sponsorship a semester<\/p>\n

SPA SCREEN RENTAL<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SPA is allowing student organizations the opportunity to rent our inflatable outdoor movie screen for an organization\u2019s event.\u00a0 All screen rental applications must be submitted at least three weeks prior<\/strong> to the event date. Once the Screen Rental Application is submitted, SPA will review the request and notify the organization with approval or denial. Please review SPA’s Screen Rental Guidelines before filling out the application.<\/span><\/p>

SPA Screen Rental Guidelines:<\/p>

  1. All requests must be submitted at a minimum of three weeks prior to the scheduled event date.<\/span><\/li>
  2. The organization must pay $150 to secure the rental of the screen.<\/span>
    1. If the event must be cancelled due to weather, the organization will be fully reimbursed.<\/span>
      1. SPA must be notified 24 hours prior to the event to be reimbursed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
      2. If the event must be postponed, SPA must be notified 24 hours prior to the original event date. SPA will work with the organization to reschedule the screen rental.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
      3. If there are no damages found after rental, the student organization will receive $100 back.<\/span><\/li>
      4. SPONSORSHIPS WILL NOT COVER THE COST OF SCREEN RENTAL.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
      5. The organization will be held responsible for any loss or damage to items.<\/span><\/li>
      6. Four representatives from SPA will attend the event to set up and take down the screen.<\/span><\/li>
      7. Organization can NOT plan an event the same day as a scheduled SPA event.<\/span><\/li>
      8. Included in This Rental:<\/span>
        1. 16 x 9 Inflatable Outdoor Movie Screen<\/span><\/li>
        2. Optoma EH341 Outdoor Movie Projector\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
        3. QSC K10.2 Powered Speaker System\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
        4. Required Application Documents:<\/span>
          1. A completed SPA Screen Rental application<\/span><\/li>
          2. This contract signed and returned to <\/span>spa.president@nicholls.edu<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
          3. Limitations:<\/span>
            1. The organization must complete all paperwork necessary for the event and be in good standing with the University. This includes Gold Forms, following safety guidelines, and anything else required by the University.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
            2. The organization must be aware that they must buy the copyrights to a movie in order to show one on our screen. The organization is responsible for contacting a third party movie rights company, and must email proof of the purchased movie rights to <\/span>spa.president@nicholls.edu<\/span><\/a> in order to rent the screen.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>
