BOUCVALT ROOM NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

In conjunction with the 6.9 million dollar expansion project, the Nicholls State University Foundation and the Colonel Athletic Association has created a campaign that will allow donors to name all areas of the Boucvalt Athletic Complex while providing for current and future needs.

The goal of the campaign will be to name all areas of the new facility in an effort to raise funds which will allow Nicholls Athletics to invest a portion into an endowment and use the other funds for upkeep and maintenance within the department.

“This campaign is a unique opportunity for our supporters to not only help us continue to build for the future, but they can also be personally connected to our wonderful facility,” said Jonathan Terrell, Nicholls Director of Athletics. “This project is the first of its kind in our history and we want our community to be a part of it.”

Each new room or area of the Boucvalt Athletic Complex will be permitted to be named after an individual, family and/or business as per guidelines set forth by the state of Louisiana, Nicholls State University, and the Donor Gifts Agreement. The opportunity will allow donors to pay off their investment over a five-year period, and the naming rights to the space for 15 years.

THE BOUCVALT ATHLETIC COMPLEX
The Boucvalt Athletic Complex became a reality in the summer of 2019 when local businessman Trey Boucvalt donated a gift of $2.52 million to fund the project. A former assistant football coach at Nicholls, Boucvalt is the founder and chief executive officer of several companies that include environmental emergency response and management services, real estate investments and oilfield labor consulting.
