nicholls police badgeThe Department of University Police is committed to ensuring that the Nicholls campus is a safe, secure environment for students, employees, community members and visitors.

Police-commissioned law enforcement officers patrol the campus 24 hours each day of the year. University police officers are responsible for law enforcement and vehicle traffic control, which includes responding to service calls, medical emergencies, fire emergencies, traffic accidents and any requests requiring police assistance.

The department also remains proactive through crime prevention strategies and education and by responding to the needs of the Nicholls community.

The Department of Parking Services has moved to the Department of University Police in Calecas Hall located at the corner of Acadia Drive and Ardoyne Drive. Please visit the Office of Parking Services for assistance. However, please do not hesitate to contact us about your needs or concerns.
