The Nicholls State University’s Sports Medicine Department will provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art health care and wellness services as it pertains to the well-being of the student-athlete. Each member of the Nicholls State University’s Sports Medicine Department will do his or her part to provide professional, first-class leadership and counseling necessary to prevent, manage, and rehabilitate the student-athlete. The Nicholls State University’s Sports Medicine Department strives to provide leadership in education for athletic training students through quality educational and clinical experiences. The Nicholls State University’s Sports Medicine Department serves as a major intellectual and creative resource for Colonel Athletics, develops interactive partnerships with allied health professionals and participates in the exploration and development of the student-athlete’s health and well-being.
