The Rougarou Fest will occur October 24 – 25 in downtown Houma. The proceeds of this unique festival go to the current efforts to construct a permanent home for the South Louisiana Wetland Discovery Center, a non-profit that partners with Nicholls in several coastal preservation projects. Nicholls faculty and students will participate by hosting Tou Lou Lou Races and other educational activities contributed by the students of the Nicholls Biology Society and the newly chartered TriBeta National Biological Honor Society.
