Oct 7 Sun .    Fete des Vieux Temps, Lafourche Central Market Pavilion, Raceland. Center for Bayou Studies Listening Booth and Research Talks

Oct 11-14 .    Award Winning Play: Tant que Durera la Terre by John Doucet, performed at Danos Theater, Part of the Nicholls 70th Anniversary Celebration

Oct 12 Fri .    Lecture by John Doucet on the Cheniere Caminada Hurricane of 1893. Danos Theater 7 Part of the Nicholls 70th Anniversary Celebration

Oct 21 Sun .    Bayou Studies Symposium at the Rougarou Festival. Lecture and Poster Session. Hancock Whitney Bank 1-3 followed by Cajun Music on adjacent stage.

Nov 3 .    Swamp Stomp, Lafourche Central Market Pavilion, Raceland. Four awesome bands, Open Cajun Music Jam Session, Cultural heritage artisans

Nov 10 Sat     Lafourche Heritage Days / Thibodeauxville. Dr. John Doucet Lectures at Thibodaux Library 10 am and Cutoff Library 1:00 pm.

Nov 29 Wed .    Poetry Readings at Danos Theater by Dr. Jay Udall, Dr. David Middleton, Poet Laureate Jack Bedell, and others. 7 pm
