Emphasis on the history of the visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture) with discussion of related humanistic concepts (history, literature, drama, music, and philosophy). Illustrated lectures with slides, video, discussion, and, when possible, attendance at out-of-class functions (performances, films, exhibitions, lectures). Fa only. (30.9999)

Emphasis on the history of the visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture) with discussion of related humanistic concepts (history, literature, drama, music, and philosophy). FNAR 303. Topics in Fine Arts. 3-3-0. Emphasis on a specific area within the history of the visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture) with discussion of related humanistic concepts (history, literature, politics, and philosophy). Topics vary. Illustrated lectures with readings, discussion and video. May be repeated for credit if content differs. (30.9999)
