ORGL 300. Introduction to Organizational Leadership Concepts and Principles. 3-3-0. An overview of the principles, theories, models, and styles of organizational leadership.  Analysis and assessment of personal leadership style, strengths and weaknesses. 52.0213

ORGL 311. Professional Writing.  3-3-0. Students will follow a sequence beginning with an introduction to the writing process, emphasizing planning and collaboration, and tools of persuasive written and visual rhetoric. They will produce and critique documents ranging from memos to reports, and will end with a study of professionalism highlighting diversity, usability, ethics and legal issues in professional writing.  52.0213

ORGL 314. Diversity and Intercultural Understanding in a Global Context. 3-3-0. An overview of basic concepts of cross-cultural communication and globalization, in the context of a sample of nations from around the globe. 52.0213

ORGL 317.  Concepts and Technologies of Organizational Communication. 3-3-0. This course will explore the role that human communication, both oral and written, plays in structuring, maintaining, and changing organizational behavior. Students will examine the role that the social media, ethics, diversity, leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving can have on business and corporate outcomes. 52.0213

ORGL 321. Principles of Team Leadership in Project Management. 3-3-0. This course is designed to provide students with the fundamental concepts of the principles of team leadership in project management. Students completing this course will understand the roles of project managers in their organizations and will master project management tools, techniques, and interpersonal skills that are required in order to orchestrate projects from start to finish. 52.0213

ORGL 324.Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis. 3-3-0. Students will select and utilize appropriate methodologies for analysis of organizational metrics, and understand quantitative and qualitative applications. The purpose of this course is to enable the student to apply these concepts to the “real world” through modeling and interpretations. 52.0213

ORGL 327. Law and Ethics Applied to Organizations. 3-3-0. The course offers students an understanding of core legal principles and applications of relevant employment and organizational law and ethics. 52.0213

ORGL 334. Critical Thinking and Analysis. 3-3-0. This course is designed to teach students more effective reasoning strategies and to improve cognitive skills. Its ambition is to develop those intellectual skills that are essential for understanding organizational data and effectively using data in making decisions. 52.0213

ORGL 335. Contemporary Organizational Issues. 3-3-0. A survey of the impact of internal and external constraints on decision making and organizational effectiveness. 52.0213

ORGL 337. Strategic Planning Within Organizational Cultures. 3-3-0. The course blends the tenets of strategic planning to construct planning proposals that utilize key stakeholders from different organizational cultures to enhance strategic planning outcomes. 52.0213
