    The event, sponsored by the Student Government Association, is for Nicholls students. Please eat lunch before departure. The museum celebrates African-American history in Terrebonne, Lafourche and St. Mary Parishes. Meet in front of the Student Union to travel to the Houma Finding Our Roots African American History Museum

  • Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra - Spring 2019 Oh' La' La' Series

    The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is a full-scale symphonic orchestra located in New Orleans. Formed in 1991, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is the oldest full-time musician-governed and collaboratively-operated orchestra in the United States.

    Sponsorship opportunities are available. Upper-level season tickets are $125 and single tickets are $30, while lower-level season tickets are $150 and single tickets are $35. To purchase tickets or become a sponsor, call Jeanne'-Morgan Gernon at 448-4270 or email at jm.gernon@nicholls.edu.

    A Thibodaux native and Nicholls alum who spent three decades working in healthcare, George Bell has emerged as a coveted trumpeter in Louisiana over the past decade. He combined his passion for music and his helping others by leading the Arts in Medicine program, which incorporated painting, drawing, crafts and music into the healing process.
