Bio:

I am a faculty member of the College of Education’s PSYC department. I teach undergraduate candidates and supervise their internships. I also advise a number of candidates as well as interact with them on a daily basis.

What are some interesting facts about yourself?
“Nicholls is a part of my family, and I love this university. I played volleyball for the Colonels and my husband played football. We were college sweethearts and have been together 20 years. We have a 10 year old son, Ethan, who is funny, charming and very energetic. We also have a 10 month old daughter, Charlie, who is full of sass and personality. In my free time (the little I have), I enjoy running and playing with my kids. They often make me realize that I can still be silly and carefree. We are a sports family, so we all enjoy going to sporting events and participating in them. We also love visiting New Orleans; we enjoy the culture, the food and the overall atmosphere and experiences it has to offer.”

Complete one of the following statements: “My dream job other than teaching at Nicholls would be…” -OR- “My future career aspirations include…”
“My dream job??? This is a tough one because I feel it changes as I experience life. I truly love what I do at Nicholls and feel at home here. However, if I had to choose something else, it would have to be related to fitness and outdoors (meaning a beach). I would love to be a personal shopper as well.”

Answer one of the following questions: If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with the winnings? -OR- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
“If I won the lottery, I would travel. I would love to see all of the United States from coast to coast. Although I do not consider myself a wilderness survival type of girl, I LOVE being outdoors and experiencing adventures. Of course I would take my family along in a fabulous luxury RV, so we could experience this adventure together.”
