Black History Month is a time to be seen, to be heard, to be recognized, to celebrate accomplishments of the past and present, and to celebrate the culture of Black.
 

For the third year, Essence of Black Celebration will continue to focus on cultivating the dynamics of diversity as well as celebrating and acknowledging the impacts Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements, and more.

The theme for this year’s EOBC is “The Power of Black Labor.” This event will be open to neighboring colleges, sororities and fraternities, and community vendors. There will be food, non-food items, resources, live entertainment and more.
