The Department of Music at Nicholls State University invites all Music Majors to submit a video recording of a single musical selection of their choice for the Performing Arts Exposition.

Recordings will be judged on technical facility, accuracy, professional stage presence, and musicality.

A committee of Music Faculty will select up to ten students to perform for the Exhibition. Awards for the three Bachelor of Arts concentrations—Vocal Music Education, Instrumental Music Education, and Music Performance/Liberal Arts—will be announced at the performance for the best recordings.

Send video recordings to luciana.soares@nicholls.edu by 4:30 PM on March 13th, 2026. All accepted performances must be accompanied by a 250-word synopsis uploaded in the registration procedure. All synopses will be published in a collection to be distributed at Expeaux 2026.
