Sexual Offenders Registered At Nicholls State University

Louisiana Revised Statute 15:542B(3)  requires sex offenders attending the university to register with University Police:

“If the sex offender is a student at an institution of postsecondary education in this state, the sex offender shall also register with the campus law enforcement agency of the institution at least one business day prior to the beginning of the school term or semester.”

The law requiring sex offenders to register with campus law enforcement was made possible thanks to the Nicholls State University Department and Chief Craig Jaccuzzo, who spearheaded the legislation that made this law possible.
