The cardio room is equipped with 42 pieces of Precor cardio equipment including treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and AMTs. Each machine has a P80 Console that has a 15 inch LCD Touch Screen.
The cardio room also has two Concept 2 rowing machines, two TrueForm Runner treadmills and two Matrix ClimbMill stair-climbers.
There are two fitness studios within the Harold J. Callais Memorial Recreation Center. The larger of the two studios has the capability to be partitioned off to make it into two smaller studios.
Each fitness studio is equipped with a BenQ projector including computer and blu-ray attachments and a 133 inch pull down projector screen.
The indoor track is located on the 2nd level of the Harold J. Callais Memorial Recreation Center which gives a bird’s eye view of the strength room and Michael Childs Gymnasium.
The track is a hand poured 3 inch thick red and grey granulated rubber which includes 3 lanes and embanked corners. The distance of the track is one-tenth of a mile. Ten laps around the indoor track equals a mile.
The Michael Childs Gymnasium includes two multipurpose courts for free play and intramural competition. The courts include NFHS Basketball court dimensions, NCAA Volleyball court dimensions, and badminton corners.
The gymnasium has the ability to separate into two courts with the use of a drop down curtain.
