Alumni memberships

Membership Details:

 You can purchase a three-month or a six-month membership for $50 per month as a dues paying member of the Nicholls Alumni Federation. If you are not an Alumni Federation member, you can join online (Nicholls Alumni Federation Membership).

  • Membership includes full access to:
    • Weight training room
    • Cardio fitness room
    • Racquetball court
    • Indoor walking/jogging track
    • Group exercise classes
    • Wellness seminars and programs
    • Locker room facilities
    • Complimentary Towel service
    • Free consultation, body analysis, and facility tour with the purchase of a new membership
  • Other amenities include (additional cost associated)
    • One-on-one personal training
    • Overnight locker rental
  • Guest passes can be purchased at the customer service desk for a fee of $8 per visit.
    • Guest will be at least 15 years of age and accompanied by a member.
    • No more than two guests per day.

How to get a Colonel Card:

Membership Details:

*If you are an alum who graduated from Nicholls between spring 2003 and summer 2012, your rec center membership will be free for as many semesters as you paid into the program.

If you graduated between 2003 and 2012, your membership to the Recreation Center automatically began when the center opened on October 27, 2012.

  • Membership to the Recreation Center will be free of charge and will last for as many semesters as you paid into the program. For details on your membership, please contact Rachel Dufrene at 985-493-2742.

Parking at the Recreation Center:

To ensure safe, quality parking for all recreation center members, we ask that all members obtain a university parking permit.  Please contact Parking Services at 985.448.4942 or visit the office located at University Police/Calecas Hall for more information about a student parking permit.

Employees

Membership Details:

Nicholls employees are eligible to purchase a membership for $25 per month.  Membership costs are convenient payroll deduction.

  • For an additional $25 per month, you can include your spouse or cohabiting partner in your membership OR $75 for an entire household family membership. All members must be 15 years of age or older to have a membership.
  • Complete the Payroll Deduction form and submit to the Customer Service desk in the Recreation Center for automatic deduction of membership fees: Payroll Deduction Form

Once you are a member of the Colonel Athletic Association, you can purchase a three or six-month membership to the Rec Center for $50 per month. To join the Colonel Athletic Association, sign up online  (Colonel Athletic Association).

  • Membership includes full access to:

Student Summer Bridge

Students enrolled in the Spring semester will have membership to the Harold J. Callais Recreation Center until May 31st.

Starting June 1, we will offer a Student Summer membership which will last until the start of the Fall semester. The membership will cost $60.50 which is equivalent to the fee summer session students pay.

Only students who were enrolled in the Spring and/or Fall semester of the same year will be eligible to purchase this membership.

Those interested in a Summer Bridge Membership must come by the administrative office to pick up a fee payment form.  Summer office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
