ULS Day at the Capitol

Each year, ULS Day at the Capitol provides us the opportunity to showcase to our legislators some of the best things Nicholls has to offer. This year, Nicholls will join our sister institutions on the lawn of the capitol on Tuesday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We will focus our legislators’ attention on our proximity to the coast and how our unique programs at Nicholls are fighting to protect Louisiana’s coastline.

The day will feature academic displays from each institution, performances, a spirit competition, lunch prepared by our own Chef John Folse Culinary Institute, and a program featuring Governor John Bel Edwards.

Nicholls students, employees, alumni and supporters are invited to join us for
