Production planning, including time series analysis, inventory systems, project planning, scheduling, and operations sequencing will be examined. Principles and practices of ship production including shipbuilding processes, fabrication methods, material handling, accuracy control, material and direct labor estimating, facility layout, production control, and group technology as related to ships, offshore structures, and floating plants.
