Immunochemistry
Dr. Adams is from Terrebonne Parish and earned her B.S. and M.S. at Nicholls State University with a research focus in the innate immunology of estuarine fishes. She earned her Ph.D. at LSUHSC working on vaccine development followed by a postdoctoral fellowship studying infant immune responses to respiratory syncytial virus. Her chemistry instruction is informed by several years of federally funded biomedical research. She proudly represents the Nicholls legacy of excellence in teaching and scientific mentorship to foster STEM in the bayou region.
