Bio:
Dr. Henderson believes all members of the class, students and instructors alike, are both learners and teachers. Life provides a multitude of shared and varied perspectives that all can learn from when education is approached with open minds and a willingness to listen.
Dr. Henderson is a passionate and committed counselor educator with experiences that range from business to school counseling and public sector to private sector. Dr. Henderson is currently licensed with the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). She is also a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider.
Dr. Henderson has also held membership in the following professional organizations: American Counseling Association (ACA), The Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), The Louisiana Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (LACES), Louisiana Career Development Association (LCDA), the Louisiana School Counseling Association (LSCA), and the Epsilon Upsilon chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.
