Bio:
I began my undergraduate degree at Nicholls State University in 2014 and I finished in 2018. Right after graduation, I applied to be the Administrative Assistant in the Department of Psychology, Counseling, and Family Studies. I was lucky enough to be offered the job and I was in that role for 4 years. During that time, I had the privilege of working with some of the best faculty on campus. It was truly a great learning experience for me and it solidified the fact that I wanted to continue my career in higher education. Because of that goal I set for myself, I applied to the Master of Education program in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration at Nicholls State University. That program allowed me to move forward in my career, and after I graduated in 2022, I was offered the job as the Title IV-E program coordinator. Title IV-E is a grant program that Dr. Reynolds and I were able to bring to Nicholls in 2021. The program financially supports students that participate in a semester-long internship in the Department of Children and Family Services. It has been very rewarding to bring this program to Nicholls and I very much look forward to everything the program will be. I feel honored to be able to serve my alma mater and will continue to do so for years to come!
