Courses:
I teach the undergraduate educational technology course. In this class, we discuss various forms of educational technology that will be exposed to candidates once they are in the field. We also discuss how technology can be used to transform lessons and transform the lives of students. I also teach a graduate educational technology course for in-service teachers and other graduate candidates. In this course, we focus on how technology can be used in a variety of educational settings to impact the lives of the students that our candidates work with. I also serve as a faculty sponsor for the student organization NEAT. This organization strives to provide service-learning activities to College of Education candidates. Through the organization, candidates participate in on-campus events and fundraisers, as well as off-campus functions in the community.

What are some interesting facts about yourself?
“I am truly a product of the College of Education at Nicholls. During my time as an undergraduate, I enjoyed learning from each of the professors I had classes with. As a master’s candidate and graduate assistant in the College of Education, I was able to spend even more time in the College of Education. During that time, I realized I never want to be anywhere else. The collective passion and care for student success in the department is unlike any other place. The Nicholls campus has become a second home to be and I am truly honored to be a part of the College of Education faculty.”
