Monday, October 10th

Homecoming Service
Danos Theater, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Join Alpha & Omega to usher in a spiritual program to kick off Homecoming week

Homecoming Pep Rally
Guidry Stadium, 7 p.m.
All students are invited to a Pep Rally led by the Athletic Director, Jonathan Terrell, to learn the fight song, alma mater, and meet all the Fall sports teams coaches & players, along with past HC King & Queen and Mr. & Ms. Nicholls.

Galliano Dining Hall, 8 – 10 p.m.
Come enjoy this annual tradition of FREE breakfast for all students, served by Nicholls faculty and staff! Enjoy the Silent Disco in the Ballroom after the Breakfast!

This event focuses shows on how Nicholls faculty, staff, and students support the LGBTQIA+ community on & off campus. Open mic, music, refreshments & more. Most colorful & creative wardrobe & empowered poster will win a swagbag.

As a reminder, there will continue to be a clear bag policy in effect. Bags that are permitted include:

  • Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″. This could include: Small totes, small backpacks, fanny packs
  • One-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bags
  • Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • Diaper bags, camera or binocular cases, seat cushions, seatbacks

Each person is allowed one large clear bag and one small clutch.
 
The following bags that are not clear and do not meet size requirements are prohibited. Examples include:

– Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, reusable grocery totes, printed pattern plastic bags, cinch bags, duffle bags, large totes
*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated areas. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags.

 
NONPERMISSIBLE ITEMS
It is the responsibility of the host institution to enforce NCAA policies in this area. The following items are not permitted inside Guidry Stadium for this FCS playoff game:
 
– Artificial noisemakers
– Promotional items with commercial slogans or identification
– Umbrellas
– Signs, flags, or banners
*With respect to the latter, items that can be held by one individual that reflect good sportsmanship and do not block the view of other ticket patrons may be permitted.
