CREATIVE WRITING (ENCW)
The Creative Writing Concentration offers courses ranging from workshop style fiction and poetry writing to collaborative scriptwriting for film and television.
The Concentration also offers a Publishing Practicum where students learn how to create, edit, and format a literary magazine by producing Mosaic, the official literary magazine of Nicholls State University.
Creative Writing Concentration (ENCW) – 18 hours required
ENGL 265 (3), ENGL 309 (3), ENGL 311 (3) ENGL 312 (3), ENGL 430 (3), and 3 hours selected from: ENGL 330, 331, 332, 333, 358, 432, or an additional 3 hours of ENGL 430 if content differs (3).
