Bio:

Amy DeVincent is a twice graduate of Nicholls State University with a B.S. in General Studies and a Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and established a private counseling practice in Thibodaux in January of 2020. She is also a P.O.S.T. Certified law enforcement officer and has worked with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office since August of 2013. In the Fall of 2019, she joined the Nicholls Criminal Justice Department as an Adjunct. She happily accepted a full-time position as an Instructor in the Criminal Justice Department of Nicholls in Fall of 2022.
She is the mother of three amazing children, two beautiful German Shepherds, and one very sassy house cat. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for and spending time with her family. She also loves traveling, cooking, and hiking with her soul mate.
