Samuel focuses on the underlying political philosophy of western liberal democracies, especially the conflict between our values. Samuel’s other interests include the history of ideas, the roots of liberalism, and the development of pluralism. He enjoys any conversation about religion, politics, and baseball. Let’s Go Mets!
