You could win $10,000 just for supporting Nicholls State University athletics at Colonel Pride Night Saturday, Aug. 25, at Cypress Columns in Gray. For the price of a $100 ticket that will help fund student-athlete scholarships, you get a buffet dinner, live music performed by Full House, a silent and live auction and the chance to win cash gifts in a drawing. One winner will receive $10,000, two will win $1,000 each, four will win $500 each and four will win $250 each. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at midnight.
