THIBODAUX – Members of the legendary Manning family will “Air it Out” Saturday, July 9, at Nicholls State University in a skills demonstration featuring Super Bowl MVPs Peyton and Eli Manning – as well as other NFL and college quarterbacks.

THIBODAUX – Although it is too early to know the exact funding for Nicholls State University, the just-completed legislative session maintains basically a standstill budget for higher education.

THIBODAUX – A 7.5-acre pond at the Nicholls State University Farm will soon be home to hundreds of thousands of new plants, broadening the research and cultivation capabilities of the Louisiana Native Plant Initiative.

THIBODAUX – Fifty-six participants of Nicholls State University’s Performing Arts Camp will sing, dance and act in Disney’s “Mulan JR,” scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, June 24; Saturday, June 25; and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Talbot Theater. Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased at the door.

THIBODAUX – Tickets to the closing ceremonies of Nicholls State University’s Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy, slated for Wednesday, June 15, are now available for $25 each and must be purchased via downloadable order form.

THIBODAUX – Students who excelled academically at Nicholls State University in spring 2011 have been named to the president’s lists, dean’s lists and honor rolls of their individual colleges.
