UNIV 100. Strategies for College Success. 1-0-3. Prerequisite: Permission of department head. Introduces effective study habits, time management techniques, goal setting, and organization skills in a structured, supervised environment. Students will participate in guided practice to learn to apply techniques for college success. This course also includes an academic skills review in mathematics and other subjects. Satisfies freshman seminar requirement. (37.0199)

UNIV 101. University Prep. 1-1-0. First time entering freshmen and transfer students with less than 30 hours. Helps students adjust to the university, provides a support system and promotes understanding of the  requirements of the major. Career exploration/assessment pertinent to the major.  Satisfies university freshman seminar requirement.  (37.0199)
