Bio:
Dr. Sarah Bergeron has experience in multidisciplinary biochemical, genetic, and cell biological approaches to determine the mechanisms of cytoskeletal mutations leading to human disease and has characterized novel biochemical properties of the two human non-muscle actin isoforms.
Dr. Bergeron’s current research focuses on crustacean genomics, discovery of novel antibiotics, metagenomics, and chemistry education.
