Appointment Information

An appointment is preferred, but we may have availability for walk-ins.
  • Please call 985.493.2600 to schedule an appointment.
  • If you choose to walk in without an appointment, there may be considerable wait times and there is no guarantee that we can see you the same day.
  • You should allow approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour for your visit.
  • Please bring all medications or a list of medications with dosages that you are currently taking to your appointment
  • You CANNOT schedule an appointment on the Patient Portal.
  • There will be a $5 charge for any missed appointment.
University Health Services Patient Portal

All students are automatically registered for the UHS/Medicat Patient Portal.  Login using your existing mynicholls username and password.

  • Make sure to Log-out of the patient portal by clicking on the red “X” at the top right of the screen.
Please provide the following when you check in for your appointment:
  • Insurance/Medicaid card.  You can also email a picture of your card(s) to healthservices@nicholls.edu.
  • All patients with insurance or Medicaid should come to the clinic with an approved medication list or formulary which is provided by your insurance company or by Medicaid.
  • UHS does NOT file any claims with insurance or Medicaid and does not participate in prior authorization of medications or procedures.
If it is necessary to return to clinic for a follow-up appointment, please schedule the appointment before you leave the clinic.
