An appointment is preferred, but we may have availability for walk-ins.
- Please call 985-493-2600 to schedule an appointment.
- If you choose to walk in without an appointment, there may be considerable wait times and there is no guarantee that we can see you the same day.
- You should allow approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour for your visit.
- Please bring all medications or a list of medications with dosages that you are currently taking to your appointment
- You CANNOT schedule an appointment on the Patient Portal.
- There will be a $5 charge for any missed appointment.
University Health Services Patient Portal
All students are automatically registered for the Medicat Patient Portal. You can use the patient portal to complete your new patient forms and upload your immunization records. Follow the instructions below to access your patient portal:
- Visit the Medicat Patient Portal website.
- Log in using your existing mynicholls username and password.
- If you are a new patient, please complete all of the required forms.
- Make sure to log out of the patient portal by clicking on the red “X” at the top right of the screen.
Please provide the following when you check in for your appointment:
- Insurance/Medicaid card. You can also email a picture of your card to healthservices@nicholls.edu.
- All patients with insurance or Medicaid should come to the clinic with an approved medication list or formulary provided by their insurance company or Medicaid.
- UHS does NOT file any claims with insurance or Medicaid and does not participate in prior authorization of medications or procedures.
If a follow-up appointment is necessary, please schedule it before you leave the clinic.
