Thibodaux is located about an hour south-west of New Orleans.  The town’s architecture and attractions echo the city’s French, Spanish, and African background.  Thibodaux is established by the vibrant influence of Cajun and Creole peoples who settled in Louisiana in the mid-1700’s.

As a college town, Thibodaux has a lively personality with many boutiques, restaurants, nightlife, and even our own Mardi Gras parades. This culture provides a unique and friendly experience for students at Nicholls State University.
