Ellender Memorial Library and Department of English, Modern Languages, and Cultural Studies present writer SJ Sindu

THIBODAUX, La. – Ellender Memorial Library and the Department of English, Modern Langauges, and Cultural Studies at Nicholls State University invite you to attend an evening with writer SJ Sindu via Zoom on April 26, at 7pm.

Sindu’s presentation is called “Writing Young Adult Characters” and will include a reading from her forthcoming novel Blue-Skinned Gods (Soho Press, November 2021) as well as a question and answer session hosted by Research & Instruction Librarian Rob Stephens.

Blue-Skinned Gods is Sindu’s second full-length novel, and is a coming-of-age story about a boy born in India with blue skin. She also published Marriage of a Thousand Lies in 2017, a tale about a pair of Sri Lankan-Americans who get married to hide the fact that they are each gay. Marriage of a Thousand Lies is available for checkout through the Nicholls Library at https://bit.ly/3suvGPf.

Admission to this event is free. The Zoom link is https://nicholls-edu.zoom.us/j/86066643418.
