MANNING PASSING ACADEMY IS BACK!
June 27-30, 2024

The Manning Passing Academy will return to Nicholls State University in 2024, June 27 to 30. This premier football camp attracts over 1,200 high school quarterbacks and receivers from across the United States as well as international destinations. Over the next six years, the Manning Passing Academy will bring more than $15 million to the local economy.

Along with campers, our community welcomes parents, families and friends who travel to South Louisiana to support their campers and enjoy some vacation time. The families are interested in visiting our local attractions and restaurants as well as experiencing our local Cajun culture.

Featuring experts in college athletics, admissions, financial aid and athletic training.

Hosted by Nicholls State University

Parents of Manning Passing Academy campers are invited to a seminar on the college recruitment process featuring experts in college athletics, admissions, financial aid and athletic training. The seminar’s speakers will cover topics such as recruitment restrictions, financial aid tips, sports medicine, college preparation and campus life. A free lunch will be provided, and campus tours will be available. For more information call 985-448-4110.

Friday Night Lights

Manning Passing Academy’s Saturday Night Lights, featuring the Air-It-Out and Quarterback Challenge passing demonstrations, give campers and fans a front-row seat to some of the country’s top college quarterbacks as they compete in a football passing competition. Tickets are $5 for parents of campers and $12 online/$15 at the gate for the general public. Proceeds benefit the Nicholls Athletics Department. Parent tickets can be purchased during the Welcome Reception. General admission tickets can be pre-purchased online.

Welcome Reception Presented by Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism

During camper check-in, parents and families are invited to attend the Manning Passing Academy Welcome Reception presented by Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism. The event will feature free food samples from area restaurants; arts and crafts from local vendors; live Cajun music; and information on tourist attractions and accommodations. Escape the summer heat and experience south Louisiana culture at our Welcome Reception.

Directions from New Orleans

  1. Take Interstate 10 to Interstate 310 Houma / Boutte exit.
  2. Follow I-310 over the Hale Boggs Bridge for 8.6 miles.
  3. Continue on I-310 and take the Houma exit to the right. It will lead to U.S. Highway 90 West.
  4. Continue on U.S. Highway 90 for 13.8 miles to La. Highway 182.
  5. Follow La. Highway 182 for 3.8 miles to La. Highway 1, You will cross Bayou Lafourche and turn right at the stoplight.
  6. Continue on La. Highway 1 for 13.6 miles to Nicholls State University. You will see the parking circle of Nicholls on the left side of the highway.

Directions from Baton Rouge

  1. Follow 1-10 E to US-61 S in Saint Amant
  2. From 1-10 take exit 187 to merge onto US-61 S toward Gramercy 0.4 mi
  3. Continue on US-61 S. Turn right on to LA-3213 S to LA-18 E in Vacherie
  4. Head southwest on La-3213 toward LA-3127 0.6 mi
  5. Turn right onto LA-3127 2.3 mi
  6. Turn left onto La-20 W 14.4 mi
  7. Follow LA-20 to Canal Blvd. in Thibodaux 18.2 mi
  8. Turn left onto E 1stStreet (LA-Highway 1)
  9. Follow E 1stStreet (LA- Highway 1) to Nicholls State University

Directions from Lafayette

  1. Take Interstate 49 East / La. Highway 90 East.
  2. Pass through Morgan City continuing on La. Highway 90 East.
  3. Take the Chacahoula / Thibodaux Exit.
  4. Turn right on La. Highway 20 East and follow for 6.8 miles. There will be a stoplight at La. Highway 20 and Main Project Road.
  5. Continue on La. Highway 20 East under the overpass.
  6. Turn right onto La. Highway 20 West. Turn right at the stoplight at La. Highway 648.
  7. Turn left onto Audubon Drive at the Nicholls State University sign.
  8. Stay on Audubon Drive until you come to the stoplight at La. Highway 1. Turn right on La. Highway 1. You will see the parking circle to your right.
